GOOD STUDIOS WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY
At Good Studios, we take pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and longevity of everything we make. Our products are designed to be used, loved, and repaired — not replaced unnecessarily. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we offer a warranty and returns policy that reflects this ethos.
PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY
These policies apply to both bedding and clothing items. Please read carefully as return conditions may vary between product categories.
BEDDING POLICIES
All bedding is custom made and shipped within four to six weeks of your order and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind. Please choose carefully when ordering and reach out if you are unsure of sizing. We’ve done our best to represent colours accurately, but if you’re particular about shade (we hear you!), we recommend ordering swatches first.
3-YEAR WARRANTY (All Bedding Items Except Fitted Sheets)
All Bedding Items (Excluding Fitted Sheets)
Our bedding is designed and made to last, and we stand behind the quality of our construction. All standard bedding items (excluding fitted sheets) are covered by a 3-year construction warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in workmanship or construction. It does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care, fabric snagging, discolouration from skincare or household products, or damage caused by pets or environmental factors.
If a genuine manufacturing fault arises within the warranty period, we will first assess whether the item can be repaired, as this is the most sustainable and practical solution.
If repair is not possible or would compromise the function or integrity of the item, we will offer a replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Please note: As we are in the process of closing and fabric availability is limited, we may not always be able to provide an identical replacement. In such cases, we will offer:

a replacement in a comparable fabric or colour where available, or
-
a refund, as required under Australian Consumer Law.
Please contact us before returning any item so we can assess the issue and advise the most appropriate next step.
6-MONTH FITTED SHEET WARRANTY
Due to the higher friction and pressure fitted sheets experience in daily use, we offer a 6-month manufacturing warranty on fitted sheets.
This warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects only. It does not cover normal thinning of fabric, heavy wear, holes formed through friction, damage caused by skincare or cleaning products, pets, mattress seams, or improper washing and drying.
Fitted sheets naturally experience more stress than other bedding items, and lifespan can vary significantly depending on mattress type, rotation habits, and care routines.
If a genuine fault occurs within six months, we will assess the item and, where possible, repair it first. If repair is not viable, we will provide a replacement or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
As we are winding down operations, identical replacement fabrics may not always be available. Where this occurs, we will offer:

a comparable alternative where possible, or
-
a refund where required under Australian Consumer Law.
To help your bedding last as long as possible, we recommend:

rotating fitted sheets top-to-bottom regularly
-
alternating between two fitted sheets to distribute wear
-
washing on a gentle cycle with mild detergent
-
line-drying in the shade where possible
-
avoiding bleach, fabric softeners, and overdrying
-
being mindful of friction from nails, pets, or mattress edges
We encourage customers to reach out as soon as signs of wear appear, rather than after a hole forms, as early repairs are often more effective and sustainable.
CLOTHING POLICIES
We want you to love your Good Studios clothing. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns for full-priced clothing items within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be in original, unworn condition with tags attached.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty

Approved returns may be refunded or credited depending on item condition
RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Email us within 10 days of delivery to request return authorisation

Ship the item back within 7 days of receiving approval

Items must be returned in unused, unworn condition with tags attached

We do not provide return labels or accept returns from external stockists

Unauthorised returns will not be processed
For faulty items:

Must be purchased from Good Studios at full price

Must be within 36 months (or 6 months for fitted sheets)

Email hai@goodstudios.com.au with photos, a description of the fault, and proof of purchase (receipt or bank statement)
We’ll respond within 3 business days and send return details if eligible.
Need a spare button or part years later? Reach out — we offer lifetime spares.
REFUNDS & RESTOCKING FEE

A 5% restocking fee applies to all refunds to cover processing costs

Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Please allow 5–7 business days for processing once your return is received

Shipping costs are non-refundable
FINAL SALE ITEMS

All sale and sample sale purchases are final sale — no exceptions

Orders cannot be modified or cancelled during sale periods
TO RETURN AN ITEM
Please use the compostable packaging your item came in (it has a secondary seal) or a recyclable parcel of your own. We ask you not to use generic plastic satchels in line with our sustainability ethos.
Return instructions and address will be provided once your return is approved.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the product and the packaging. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
