SHIPPING & RETURNS
PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY
These policies apply to both bedding and clothing items. Please read carefully as return conditions may vary between product categories.
BEDDING POLICIES
All bedding will be made and shipped within four weeks of your order and cannot be returned or exchanged (unless faulty) as they are custom made for you, so please choose carefully when ordering and reach out if you are unsure of sizes. Though we've tried to ensure the images are an accurate representation of the colour of the physical product, if you're very picky about colour (us too!) make sure you reach out and order swatches first to make sure you're happy. :)
3 YEAR WARRANTY
Our bedding is made to last — and we stand behind it with a 3-year warranty on construction (2 years for fitted sheets, as they naturally experience more wear). While this covers manufacturing defects, please note that damage from general wear and tear, misuse, or contact with skincare or household products is not included.
In line with our commitment to sustainability, we ask that you contact us as soon as you notice signs of thinning or excessive wear — not after a significant hole has developed. Early contact gives us the opportunity to reinforce and repair where possible, extending the life of your piece and reducing waste. This approach is not only better for the environment, it’s a direct reflection of the values we hold dear at Good Studios.
We put great love into every piece we create — and that same care continues through any mending process. If repair isn’t viable or would compromise the function of the item, we’ll offer a replacement instead.
To initiate a return or repair request, please follow the steps outlined below. As the manufacturer, we will assess all returned items and determine whether a repair, replacement, or refund is appropriate based on the warranty terms.
CLOTHING POLICIES
We want you to love your Good Studios clothing. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns for full-priced clothing items within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be in original, unworn condition with tags attached. Please note:
- Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Returns for clothing must be initiated within 14 days of receipt by contacting hai@goodstudios.com.au.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
- If a return is approved, we will offer a store credit or refund depending on the condition of the item.
Return of faulty goods must adhere to the following:
-
The product must have been purchased from Good Studios directly at FULL PRICE (sale items or products purchased from third parties are not accepted and are not eligible for return).
-
The product must have been purchased within 36 months (24 months for fitted sheets) of notifying Good Studios of the fault.
-
You must contact Good Studios via email (hai@goodstudios.com.au) with:
(i) A photograph of the item & fault along with a description of the issue/fault.
(ii) A "proof of purchase," being either the email confirmation or invoice from Good Studios or bank statement.
Good Studios will respond within 3 business days and if eligible for inspection, will send return details as per the process below.
Don't worry if you lose a button long after your purchase. We offer lifetime spare parts, so just reach out to us and we'll send you a replacement. Your item will be back in working condition in no time!
If you're looking for information on how to care for your products, be sure to visit our product care page. Still have questions? Contact us via email at hai@goodstudios.com.au.
TO RETURN AN ITEM
If you are returning an item please try to use the compostable packaging the item came in (which has a secondary seal for this purpose), or a recyclable parcel of your own. We encourage you not to use generic plastic AusPost or courier parcels in the spirit of sustainability.
Once the return is approved, we will provide shipping address and instructions.
SHIPPING POLICY
We offer free standard shipping on all orders. Please note that free shipping is standard and uninsured. We are not responsible for lost items once they have been shipped. If you would like to organise insured or tracked shipping, please reach out prior to placing your order.
Please provide the tracking number as soon as possible. We are not liable for compensation of any lost parcels if the tracking number is not provided to us.
We embrace sustainability where ever possible in all aspects of the business: from the fabrics we use, our makers, packaging. In 2014 we teamed up with a local business called Carbon Neutral and became part of their Plant A Tree program.
For every online purchase, a percentage of proceeds goes toward planting a native tree in Australia on our customer’s behalf.
Carbon Neutral specialises in biodiverse conservation plantings, using trees and shrubs that are native to Australia. Native trees help to reduce soil salinity, provide wind breaks, enhance biodiversity, sequester greenhouse gas emissions and restore habitat for native animals.
So by supporting our business, our customers are also supporting a greener Australia.
Hemp is an incredibly versatile plant and an excellent fibre to wear. It breathes beautifully, is warming in winter and cooling in summer; boasting the highest UV protection of all natural fibres.
Hemp grows extremely fast, producing more fibre yield per acre than any other source. Hemp can produce 250% more fibre than cotton and 600% more fibre than flax using the same amount of land.
Moreover, hemp does not exhaust the soil. Hemp plants shed their leaves all through the growing season, adding rich organic matter to the topsoil and helping it retain moisture. Farmers have reported excellent hemp growth on land that has been cultivated steadily for nearly 100 years.
Its natural antibacterial properties make it perfect for asthma and allergy sufferers and its ability to thermoregulate make it perfect against the skin all year round.
Our premium 100% hemp fabric is grown in South China and woven in central China. Due to its antibacterial properties, the use of pesticides and chemicals are not needed in its production.
The plant is harvested, and the husk is stripped back to reveal the long strands of bast fibre that are the basis of the yarn. It is dried, beaten and spun before it is woven and then dyed using OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified dyes in China.
